Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Il Falo Wood Fire Kitchen, located within The Westin Raleigh Durham Airport. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, team development, and overall guest satisfaction. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the daily operations of Il Falo Wood Fire Kitchen, including food and beverage service, staff management, and guest satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and motivate restaurant team members to achieve service excellence and operational goals.
Monitor and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and safety in compliance with brand and regulatory requirements.
Support scheduling, payroll, and labor management to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on budgeting, inventory management, and cost control initiatives.
Drive guest satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and creating memorable experiences.
Assist in implementing marketing and promotional strategies to maximize restaurant revenue.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2–3 years of restaurant or food & beverage management experience, preferably in upscale or full-service settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor management best practices.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building high-performing teams.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
